   I returned this watch after having it for one day. I like big watches and it was smaller than I expected. The main reason I returned it was because the rear of the watch has four raised rough areas that rubbed on my wrist in an uncomfortable way. Also, as many have said, it was very hard to read the display.

   I purchased this watch from Amazon after comparing prices for similar watches and styles at other retailers.
   
   As much as I like this watch, I wish that Casio had made it a little bigger.
   
   Because of the size issue, I ended up passing it off to a work-mate who absolutely loves it.
   
   I will however In the future purchase another Casio watch from Amazon, as I was pleased with the service,and speedy shipping of the item.

   The buttons are vary hard to push. The display is vary hard to see in day light. The military theme is a joke. It feels like you have a hard rubber tire on you wrist.

   I have had this watch for almost 6 months. I love this watch. Like others said before me…It’s built like a tank. It does well in the desert, mud, underwater, whatever you can throw at it. Many people complain that it’s hard to see in low-light. That is true but i see the time just fine. But if you have the same problem just turn on the back light. In the sunlight it displays the time just fine. Maybe lots of people are blind. Either way get this watch you won’t be disappointed.

   I have been wearing this watch for a couple of weeks now. I generally never take off my watch (shower, gym, running, cricket, tennis etc…) and hence need a rough and tough watch like a GShock. Owned a basic GShock for the last 7 years and was immensely satisfied by it. These watches can take anything…literally any abuse. Hence after doing some research I went for the military inspired G9000MS-1CR.

   Yes, it is difficult to see in low light conditions but you can use the backlight and these situations don’t come very often. In office or under normal light, I have no problem checking the time. The watch is lightweight with a good look and fits quite well on my wrist. The material of the band is such that it feels quite secure on the wrist and has appropriate ventilation for a long comfortable wear during any activity. Overall its built like a tank and thats precisely why I bought it.

   Just ask yourself why you are getting a watch: if its about owning a rough and tough watch, this is it. It goes well with formal attire as well. The display is dimmer than normal watches and the battery life is ~ 3 years. Just be aware of it. If these 2 things don’t bother you…go for it!
