I have had a Casio watch for about a year and now the watchband needs replaced. I was informed by Walmart that they cannot replace a Casio watchband. I called Casio and they told me that as far as they know NO CASIO WATCHBAND CAN BE REPLACED BY A NORMAL WATCHBAND! I had to order a watchband from Casio and they had to know which model it was before I ordered it. Total price: $12.00 shipping, handling and sales tax included. I then asked the representative if instructions would be included because it was a different type of setup instead of pins. HE SAID THAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO RECOMMEND TAKING THE BAND TO A JEWELER TO HAVE IT PUT ON!! PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS AS BANDS DO NOT LAST FOREVER!!

The buttons are hard to push, The “A” button was not functional, and the hourly signals/alarm are too soft!

I purchased a Casio G-Shock solar powered, atomic watch last summer. The black resin band broke. I purchased a Casio replacement band for
$19 on Ebay. I brought it to two jewlery shops and neither would attempt to work on the band. I took it to Fred Meyers Jewlers and was chared $5 to attached the new band. Hours later the new band fell off my wrist because Fred Meyers bent the watch band pin. Stay away from Casio watches with the black resin watchbands. It also needs a battery replacement because after one year of use the solar charged battery only holds a charge for a few hours.

justcalculators sold me a brand new casio watch at an unbelievable price. they shipped it right away and there weren’t any problems with the purchase. i would definitely buy from them again.

I ordered and returned the Mudman Solar for two reasons specifically: A) The buttons were impossible to push, and B) the fit was sub-par with a band loop that was so loose, I couldn’t even mow the yard without the end of the band popping out! Also, it seems like all the new generation G-Shocks are smaller, lighter, and ….errrr…CHEAPER. My old G-Shock lasted about 14 years, and I was somewhat stoked when it gave out, as I knew there were a ton of new options. Pure disappointment in all models, …..EXCEPT…. THE g-SHOCK FROGMAN!!!! I know it’s a different price point, but I did my research and found a standard model for about $270. After a discount code, free shipping and no tax, the thing was on my wrist for about $225. Well worth the coin, all options needed, made in a different factory, beefy as all get out, great fit and the thing looks balls. Good luck on finding one at a decent price, as popularity with the current “urban” culture has pushed up price and demand. Find one for under 3 bills and you will not be disappointed!
