Well there I was umming and arring about whether or not I should buy the cheaper Amazon version they flog off on this site or should I settle for the Cole Hann hand stitched blah blah one.
Granted I haven’t seen the Amazon one in person, but gut instinct told me – cough up the dosh and fob off the knockoff… and Im happy I did, why you ask… well its nice, feels nice, smells nice.
Now here’s something that might sway you from buying this leather bound bombshell… I tend to read in bed “unprotected” – that is I unsheathe my kindle prior to reading forgoing its intended use, which i’m gathering is to beautify and to protect the kindle. Personally reading without the cover is a better experience… but I’m glad I bought it at the end of the day

What can I say that the other reviewers have not said already, This is a very high quality product made by a very fine leather maker……all I can tell you is that If you purchase this high quality book cover for your Kindle, It will have a very special supple quality feel to it…..you can bend the cover back without the fear of cracking your Kindle, as some of the other cheaper covers tend to do………I think thats one very good reason to purchase this cover. The other is the luxurious feel …..of it…….I truly think once you get over the initial sticker shock…….you will truly enjoy…it……

This Cole Haan leather case is beautifully constructed. Craftmenship is superb.
Holding the Kindle is well balanced and feels similar to holding real book. Only drawback is that the case does not protect against exposure to the elements as it only folds closed and will allow sand,etc. to damage the unit. Very satisfied.

This is was money well spent! It protects my Kindle and it is very sharp looking so I can take it anywhere. People won’t know what you are carrying and if the meeting or class is boring you can open your Kindle and read and no one will know.
