To whom it may concern,I did receive my order as promised which was a invicta subaqua noma iii model 6043. I had the watch no more than a week before two of the rubber watch band pins came out and caused the watch to fall off my wrist and damage the side of watch over the watch stem. I have conacted invicta about this. You might check you lot of these watches for any problems in this area before shipping any more. thanks.

I bought the sub aqua III and had it for about 1 month before the face crystal CRACKED through and through. This was because I was wearing it on MY WRIST and went from the 73 deg far house to my 26 deg far car! So I sent it in, but the warranty was expired. They wanted $25 to ship it BACK to me (didn’t cost that much for me to send it to them though) and $40 to repair the face crystal.
Here’s the great part: I was informed of a repair time of 4 to 6 weeks because it had to be shipped overseas. That was on Dec. 18 of 2009. Now, I called them this morning (2-12-2010) and asked on the status of the order. He, an individual who spoke very poor English, informed me that it would be arriving on March 18th of 2010! So I asked how it was that the repair time jumped from 4 to 8 to 12 weeks. He “explained” 4 to 8 weeks is the MINIMUM repair time!
Overall: Invicta takes a long time to repair (apparently they have one lonely old man working on the watches!), they are not as durable as would appear (yes, maybe in the clock workings but who cares if the clock keeps time if you are under water and water leaks in do to a VERY REASONABLE thermal shock), and the customer service is the usual cover ass bull you’d expect from a company ran primarily online.
STAY AWAY FROM INVICTA………spend your hard earned money on something much better.

I recently bought the Invicta Noma III chronograph because I needed to replace my old scuba diving watch. I new Invicta as a good reputation brand for scuba diving watch and I did not hesitate to buy this model when I saw all the great specification of the product. The only thing I did not figure is that the watch is simply enormous. Its a huge timepiece that is weighting nearly 1 lb on your wrist. My second commentary is that it is difficult to read underwater in the dark as glowing part of the needle and and the spot on the crown are too small. After using the watch for one month (and 5 dives) I feel that the backgroud of the watch tend to diminish the lisibility because of the gridlike appearance. On the other hand, I have never had a watch that seems so robust. All buttons are very well secured and the strap really look like solid equipment. As the watch is given for 50 ATM, one can imagine to use it for heavy duty professionnal uses. It is just a bit too much for my needs finally and very heavy to carry…

This is a great looking watch and, like everyone else has said, HUGE! I knew it would be very large when I ordered it, but it is bigger than I thought. Still, a great looking watch though. However, the second hand doesn’t work. I am stationed overseas and need a very durable, accurate, waterproof watch that can also help me keep my bearings in training evolutions (all of which this watch would qualify for), but the second hand doesn’t work for some reason. It’s not an important feature for me, but it looks pretty silly when the second hand sits at 12 all day. Despite me needing to take it to a repair shop to get it fixed (I do need it and can’t afford to wait two months to get a replacement), I can live with that fact because it was a bargain. Four stars for looks, ruggedness and price–but I’m taking a star back for something as silly as a second hand frozen in time.

IF YOU ARE NOT INTO HAVING YOUR WATCH BE THE CENTER OF ATTENTION– THIS IS NOT THE WATCH FOR YOU!! BESIDES BEING AN EXCELLENT TIMEPIECE, WITH FINE CRAFTMENSHIP, AND EXCEPTIONAL DETAIL, – YOU ARE GOING TO FIND YOURSELF REPEATING THE “WHAT, WHERE & HOW MUCH” TO PEOPLE PRACTICALLY EVERY TIME YOU WEAR IT. IT HAS AWESOME BALANCE FOR A WATCH THIS BIG AND IS EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE TO WEAR. THE STRAP IS EXCEPTIONAL, PLENTY OF ROOM FOR THE BIG WRIST ( LIKE MINE) BUT CONTOURS TO GIVE ANYONE A GREAT FIT. THE GUNMETAL FINISH HAS A LIQUID LOOK TO IT AND THE PERFORATED SKELETON DIAL REVEALS THE GOLD OF THE INNER WORKING– VERY COOL!! — THIS IS MY SECOND INVICTA IN 3 MONTHS AND MY FIRST SUBAQUA NOMA- AND IT WILL NOT BE MY LAST–GREAT PRICE – GREAT PRODUCT!
