Modeled after the orange spacesuits worn by the astronauts when the Space Shuttle launches and returns to Earth, this costume features multiple zipper pockets for carrying gear and is outfitted with official NASA patches, including a special "Commander" patch. This is a great product. The material is fairly thick (unlike the adult version), it is well made and looks great. My only problem with it was the size. Other reviews stated that it fitted 7 year olds well. The hat is really well made and could be used for everyday use. The price reflects the quality and is worth it for the costume to last. I would have given it 5 stars but my son is average height, but it barely fits him and we got it for a gift on his 6th birthday. We are reordering the next size up.

This suit fit our 7 yr old son perfectly for Halloween! He also enjoys dressing up to play related “missions” with it. It seems to be very durable and worth the $ we had to pay. It also arrived quickly in the mail.

I ordered the astronaut suit for a Halloween costume. My daughter loves everything space related. The costume is AWESOME! Quality is exceptional. Looks just like the real thing the astronauts wear. Some reviews felt the sizing was small, but the size 6-8 fit my 7 year old perfectly. She is 45 pounds, 47 inches. If your child loves space and astronauts, he or she will adore this costume.

I bought this suit for my six-year old space-mad son for Christmas. He just loves it! It is very well made, and authenitic looking. Much much better than the average costume. The only downside is that the sizing seems to run small – the size 6-8 suit I bought just fits my son, and he’s not overly tall. All in all, though, I was very impressed with the suit. Well worth the money.

This is a very high-quality astronaut suit with hat. We were very impressed, as was our 4-year-old daughter. I would recommend buying a little big, though: our daughter wears about a size 5 but the size 6-8 fits her pretty well with some room to grow. Great deal
