I expected flimsy, plastic-y pieces when I ordered this item with the intention of just using the lab coat for my preschooler’s 3rd birthday. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and detail of all the components of this dress-up costume. Every article, from the shoe covers to the hat and surgical mask feel as though they were made for use by real medical professionals who happen to be the size of three year olds. One of the biggest pleasant surprises was the stethoscope, which works very well without being so loud that I would worry about my child’s hearing while using it (I still supervise her closely with it though). We still use the lab coat more than the rest of the costume because it’s easy to take off and on and allows you to be a mad scientist in addition to a doctor or a veterinarian, but I could not be happier than I am with the entire set. Even though she’s now had her costume for several months, she recently informed us that she wants to be a pirate doctor (doctor with eye patch, red bandana surgery cap, and hook) for Halloween, so we get to get even more use out of this stupendous toy! Can anyone say ARRRRRRR you ready for surgery? (Think pirate).

Great little dress up outfit for my 3 year old grandson. He loves to play the role of a doctor…also a superhero…fireman…you get the idea. These costumes are great for imaginative play, and this particular outfit was very nicely made and he is enjoying it very much.

This costume is made of high quality, durable fabric and is well-constructed. It is very realistic. My two preschoolers could wear this daily and not ruin it! I’m now shopping for more costumes from this company. The price is totally worth it, especially since there are so many pieces to the costume.

I purchased this physician’s outfit for my 3 year old’s Halloween costume. He received so many compliments on it. I recommend washing it, in cold so that it doesn’t shrink since it is very starchy. This costume can also double as a dress-up outfit.

I love it, my son adores it. And he really is not into pretend play or dressing up, but this one is fantastic, realistic, good material, and so real. Made him excited about doctors visits. Yey.
