as others have said. The bad….
blocks the light sensor (very bad)
magnet seems to cause issues with the compass….
other than that its not pad. I did not expect much for $15 and it exceeeded expectations for the most part…
would be excellent if they addressed these two issues….

This case is NOT leather!!! Buyer beware! Amazon needs to check into this false advertising. If you claim leather it should not be vinyl.

It should be noted that I paid $17.50 for this case and I see that the price has increased since then. It must be getting more popular. Still, it is an excellent deal when compared to the price of some of the other cases out there. Given the relative lack of functional iPad cases overall, this one should be on everyone’s short list. It looks nice, protects your device adequately, and folds into stand. The only caveat is that the snap just sort of hangs loose when the case is open. When the case is closed it keeps the device from sliding out. It’s not much of an issue considering this may be its biggest drawback.

As some other reviewers have written, the frame covers the active area of the iPad, making it almost unusable. I wish those reviews had been posted before I bought it so I could have saved some money. The case is cheap enough that I don’t feel terrible about the purchase, but I would not suggest it for anyone else. I’ll be replacing it soon. Until then, the case will serve as a “pocket-style” case with the ability to have some basic access to the screen without totally removing it. The unfortunate thing is that its value would be so much greater if only the opening were a little larger – such a simple solution.
I contacted the seller and have received no response. I assume I’m not the first to inform them of the problem. It’s a shame they didn’t bother to test the design.
I’m going to try cutting the material with a utility knife, but what I’ve read leads me to believe it won’t work well.

I didnt think this thing would work because it was so cheap but this thing is GREAT! it works great, it holds great, it comes out easy but not falling out easy. you can lock it….
Im just waiting to see if it starts to fall a part after a week or 2, but as of right now i wanna buy 2 more just in case it does, but its feel pretty good.. a must buy for people like me who think $40 plus for apples holder is WAY TO MUCH, this thing works great, holds up my ipad for games and movies.
