   It is ironic that you could actually fool zombies with this mask. The reason is because the original mike m. mask was used from an actual mask made after William shatners face. So with that reality now out of the way, you realize why it is so important. If a zombie comes up to you and asks where you got it, you can just tell them Amazon and that will work. Sometimes though if you get someone wearing a Greenpeace t-shirt and has piercing on their face then you do not need to worry because they are so brainless and zombie like that they will walk right by you, usually mumbling a song from some overrated band like bon jovi or modest mouse or something. It is a great mask for Halloween, helloween, or simply wearing around in public to fend off the zombies. Right now they are not out and about, because I just looked out the window. They are listening to NPR and soaking their brains like sponges made of straw and we know how well that will hold!!! stuff running out of their ears and then they are lapping it off the floor and logging back on to talk to the myspace zombies and the experts on global warming fantasy books and stuff. They really need to get a mop, but speaking of mops that is what I will review next so stay tuned!!!! Oh wait you are already tuned to NPR, well enjoy George Clooney and his satire!!! He is a funny guy especially when he strains to be serious!!!!

   I have been searching for the perfect Michael Myers mask for about 3 years. Every time I find one, I’m disappointed because it turns out to be a cheap (quality, not price!!) replica. I also couldn’t find one that would fit right. This mask is PERFECT! Looks just like the movie and fits great. Buy this and a pair of coveralls and you are Michael Myers.

It really is authentic looking in person and well made, you definitely get what you pay for. This year is the first year I’ll be dressing up for Halloween since I graduated high school back in the early 90′s and I wanted to do it right by being the classic Halloween character, Michael Myers. I also bought navy blue mechanic’s coveralls, and a fake bloddy machete to complete my costume. (I know that Michael Myers didn’t use a machete, but I couldn’t find a fake long knife like he used in the original 1978 movie so the machete will have to do.)

   Last Friday I had a Halloween Movie Night over my house where we watched a couple of scary movies including the original Halloween. Toward the end of the movie I sneaked out of the room to put my costume on and when I came back, I stood behind the couch and hovered slightly over my friend’s wife. When she saw everyone glancing behind her she turned around, saw me, then jumped off the couch scared out of her mind. I can’t think of a better way to endorse this mask than by her reaction. After being punched in the arm a few times, I asked everyone’s opinion of my costume and they all agreed it was really good.

   So, if you’re looking to dress up as Michael Myers, buy this mask and you’ll look like the real thing.

   i’ve been a huge Halloween fan since i was a teen, so i’ve bought several different versions of the Michael Myers mask. this has to be one of the better mass-produced versions. previous incarnation were either too tight, way too roomy, didn’t resemble Myers at all, were so deformed that you wondered what the makers were thinking, had weird-looking hair, or paint that would smear onto your hands after handling.

   i admit that i have a big head and sweat more than most people, so i was happy that i did not have to struggle to pull it down over my head and it was roomy enough underneath where i wasn’t dying of heat exhaustion. i was also pleased to find that there wasn’t a slit cut into the mask’s mouth. while having one less hole to breathe out of might be considered a bad thing to most people, it makes the mask look more authentic since Michael’s mask never has a slit on the mouth in the movies. of course, all you need is a pair of scissors if that’s a problem for you, but i’m glad they at least made it an option this time around. and breathing wasn’t a problem for me, the mask is roomy and the holes for the eyes and nose allow for plenty of circulation.

   the mask’s color is a rather stark white with a little pale blue paint accenting the facial features. some wish the blue was a little darker or the white was more of an off-white, but i think this mask’s paint is more than adequate to give trick-or-treaters the heebie-jeebies.

   the hair is fine. though it is matted and glued down, it can be pulled apart by hand for a messy-but-not-silly-looking Myers style.

   this is also a great mask for customization. with some paint, you can do some DIY work to dirty up the style or emphasize the facial features make this mask look more on par with your own impression of what Michael Myers’ mask should look like. there are even videos on YouTube that instruct you how.

   if you’re a Myers fan like i am, chances are you’ve already bought this mask. but if you don’t have hundreds of dollars to spend on a specially made movie-accurate mask and you want to throw on some mechanic’s coveralls and walk around your neighborhood to creep out passersby this Halloween, this is still a great mask to do it with.

   I bought this mask last year and ended up wearing it twice, once for a Halloween party and again on Halloween Night. Every time I’d put on the mask, my friends would back away! This was a wonderfully spooky mask that made my costume and my Halloween perfect!
