These are certainly the best sunglasses I’ve ever donned. The lenses have ample polarization, but don’t inhibit your viewing; the frames are heavy and high quality, but I’ve read the hinge screws have issues. As I have not encountered any of these issues thus far, I’ll update if I see any of these sorts of things. The glasses are not only high quality but they LOOK high quality, which is a plus, and people definitely notice when you’re wearing them. In case you’re wondering, these ARE the sunglasses worn in season 5 of 24 by Jack Bauer. It was one of the main drawing points for me as a die-hard fan.

Serengeti large aviators came ultra fast and the price was far better than any other eyewear outlet. These are authentic Serengeti aviators, the same version as what pilots prefer to wear. The gradient lens is made of treated glass which is less susceptible to scratches and can withstand shock (to some degree). The view is sparkling crystal clear. The 5222′s are a work of art. The extra large frames helps protect sun glare from the other angles as well. I don’t think that there is a better piece of eyewear out there that can protect the eyes outdoors and provide a comfortable feel and view making Serengeti Aviators the smart choice for pilots, sportsman, enforcement or the average person seeking high quality and functionality.

The glasses are great. The delivery time was longer that expected and the price is a little high. The lenses make driving much better and with the glass lenses, I do not worry about easy scratches. I would recommend these to anyone who wants good glasses.
